Thanks to the proximity of Lake Balaton and the qualities of the volcanic soil, the hill has built up centuries of tradition in growing grapes and making wine of outstanding quality.

Winery
For us, winemaking is first of all a question of approach: tradition, patience and constant learning. From the grape to the bottle we work as a team, by hand and with care. Every vintage is another chance to refine what we do.

As an architect, I learned to pay attention to what a place wants to be before you start telling it. I try to do the same with wine. Badacsony doesn't need much explaining: volcanic soil, an enormous expanse of water, centuries of viticulture. My job is to get all of that into the bottle, and as little else as possible.
